Ahmed has been in the Human Capital Development and Management field for over 14 years. His professional experiences extend over for profit and non-profit organizations. He has managed human resource activities in a Fortune 500 company with sales of up to $50 Billion a year and has successfully lead and transformed talent management and acquisition activities at two Ivy League institutions, Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire and Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts.
He holds Bachelor in Management from Northeastern University, an MBA with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management, and an Administrative Fellow Graduate from Harvard University. He is currently completing a Strategic Human Resources Leadership program at Cornell University.
Ahmed is a passionate and committed professional and enjoys creating a positive difference. He grew up in a Foreign Services family and has traveled to over 50 countries around the world affording him a rich global perspective. It is because of his passion and commitment for leadership, progress, and development that he is an active board member for a Washington, DC based NGO currently pursuing their mission in Nigeria as well as other parts of the world (http://lichange.org/). He is also an advisor to the African Bridge Network (http://www.africanbn.org/) in Boston, MA engaged in creating an enabling environment for African immigrants in the New England area.
